The BEST thing we did was hire Linda Root. We made three house-hunting trips in 12mos. Linda organized each one, progressively understanding our changing requirements & narrowing the choices. She did a spectacular job on the search end & kicked it into high gear once our offer was accepted. Linda is an excellent real estate agent. She goes above & beyond. She kept us informed at all times. Because we were out of state, Linda arranged for repairmen at fair prices & oversaw the repairs needed from the house inspection. She also made sure that our movers had completed their job & didn't leave anything behind. These were things that she didn't have to do but she did without hesitation. When we put our house on the market, the first agent we had seemed unable to get it shown. When Linda Root took over the listing, we had a large number of lookers, and it sold in less than three months. At the same time she was helping us find another home upon which we had some pretty strict conditions. She was very cooperative, friendly and extremely professional.
